All of our Premium hammocks are finished with macramé, as it reflects the authentic look and feel of the original Brazilian hammock tradition. For competitive reasons, many Brazilian hammocks are now offered without macramé or with inferior macramé quality. We are proud to set a higher standard, offering the most beautiful and well-crafted macramé on the market. These pieces are made by skilled women from the favela communities, for whom this work provides much-needed additional income.
