ECO Basic made from cotton that grows coloured

These unique hammocke are made from naturally colored cotton, available in various shades of brown and green. The cotton comes from original cotton seeds that were rediscovered on old, abandoned cotton fields in Brazil, after production had shifted to the large-scale agricultural plains of Mato Grosso.

When cotton became a mass-produced commodity, the seeds that naturally produced colored cotton largely disappeared, because the fiber cannot be dyed and did not meet industrial standards. That is precisely what makes it unique today: the color is naturally embedded in the fiber and therefore remains beautiful and vibrant, even after a long time.

The cotton creates exceptionally strong and comfortable hammocks that do not fade in the sun. Because no dyeing processes are required, production is more environmentally friendly and uses far less water. The cotton is also fully organically grown, without chemical pesticides or artificial fertilizers.
